Alloy Brass

Recently, Alloy appeared at the Minneapolis Midtown Global Market.  We were there on Saturday, December 15, 2007 from 1:00 until 2:00.  Sharing the bill was Flute Cocktail, a 12 piece flute ensemble.  Both groups performed, and we also played a couple of festive pieces together.

It was lots of fun. The large crowd enjoyed the program immensely. 

On November 17, 2006 Alloy performed at the opening of the new Gallery at Frame Ups in Minneapolis.  More that 200 people attended the event.  Alloy played for almost two hours, then were followed by a jazz ensemble which played late into the night.

Alloy was the main attraction at the Sunday, May 12, 2006 monthly brunch hosted by Nathanial Kuster.  We played a broad program, including the Folk Song Suite by Vaughn Williams and My Heart Ever Faithful by J.S. Bach.  A rough recording was created of the event.

The brunches are a local institution.  In addition to the terrific food, people look forward to different entertainments each month.  Other themes have included poetry, string quartet, salsa dancing, and folk guitar.  After the guests perform, Nathanial takes the stage with his band as Chichi Perez, internationally known flutist, and a splendid time is had by all.
